About Aldbry
AI consultants for UK construction, built by people who have run the sites
Aldbry AI Consulting is a construction AI consultancy in London. We have built a proprietary system and process that removes the documentation, compliance and reporting work draining capacity and margin in mid-tier UK construction and engineering firms, with AI applied inside the way each firm actually works.
Why we exist
Capable people buried in paperwork. Hiring is the wrong lever.
Our team has lived the admin burden first-hand on UK schemes. We have written the RAMS, chased the subcontractor insurances, compiled the quality records, pulled together the progress reports and assembled the handover packs, often late in the evening after a full day on site.
What we saw, project after project, was capable people spending their best hours on paperwork. Project managers doing document control instead of managing projects. Site engineers typing up diaries and inspection records instead of solving problems on the ground. Commercial teams rebuilding the same information for every report and every tender.
When a firm hits a capacity ceiling, the usual answer is more headcount. Another document controller, another assistant project manager, another quality administrator. It is slow, expensive and hard to recruit for, and it simply adds more people to the same manual process. The process itself stays broken.
Aldbry exists to offer a different lever. Much of the documentation, compliance and reporting work in construction is repeatable, structured and rules-based. We have built a proprietary system and process for exactly that work, with AI applied at the right layer, and we embed it underneath the work so that competent people spend their time on judgement, safety, quality and delivery, and less of it on formatting, copying and chasing.
Who we are
Operators who understand your sites, and the technology to change how they run
Most AI advice comes from people who have never had to get a method statement approved before a shift starts. Ours comes from people who have, and that experience is what our system is built on.
01
UK civil engineering delivery
Our team's background is in UK civil engineering delivery at the top of the industry. Between us we have directed and delivered major schemes for leading contractors, from national highways and smart motorways to major viaducts, rail and defence infrastructure, on projects worth from tens to hundreds of millions.
That includes first-hand delivery up to project-director level. We have lived the exact workload we now remove: compliance documentation, CDM 2015 requirements, quality records and the multi-stakeholder coordination that defines UK delivery.
02
Technology and growth
We pair that delivery background with technology and growth experience, building live AI and commercial systems for established businesses, including work with Google, Klekt and Warner.
That means we know the difference between a demonstration and a system that runs reliably every day. It is how we built our own system: knowing where AI belongs in a workflow and where it does not, how to connect it to the way a business already works, and how to get people to actually use it.

How we work
The principles behind every engagement
We work the way a good site team works: start with the facts, plan properly, keep the right people accountable and deliver something that holds up in the real world.
Built around your real workflows
We embed our system in how your firm actually produces RAMS, site diaries, ITPs, subcontractor packs and client reports. No generic theory, no borrowed templates from another industry.
People stay in control
AI drafts, checks, extracts, summarises and flags. Competent people review and sign off. Accountability under CDM 2015 and your other duties stays exactly where it belongs.
Security taken seriously
We use business-grade tools, agree clear data handling at the start and avoid putting confidential project information into consumer AI tools. Your data is treated as your data.
Practical systems over slide decks
The goal is a working process your team uses every week, not a strategy document that sits in a shared drive. If it does not save real time on real work, it is not finished.
Start with evidence
Every engagement begins with the AI Opportunity Audit. We map where the hours go before recommending anything, so decisions are based on your firm, not on hype.
Plain speaking
If AI is not the right answer for a particular task, we will say so. Some problems need a better process, a clearer template or a conversation, not software.
What we believe
AI in construction should be useful, safe and unglamorous
AI will not build a viaduct, sign off temporary works or make a judgement call on a live site. It is, however, very good at the structured, repetitive document work that surrounds construction, and that is where most firms lose capacity.
- The biggest gains are in ordinary, high-volume work: site-specific RAMS, daily reports, quality records, subcontractor compliance, correspondence and tender responses.
- AI is a tool for competent people, not a replacement for them. Sign-off, accountability and professional judgement stay with qualified staff.
- Adoption matters more than technology. A simple system the team trusts beats a clever one nobody uses.
- Firms do not need to become technology companies. They need a proven system, set up properly, around the work they already do.
- Honest scoping beats big promises. We identify the handful of places AI helps most and start there.
What we do
Three services, one starting point
Start with a clear picture of where our system, and AI within it, helps most, then go as far as you want, from training your people to running the work for you. Each service is tailored to your sector, whether that is civil engineering, groundworks, highways and infrastructure, building contracting or M&E.
Start here
AI Opportunity Audit
A £1,500 fixed-fee audit that maps where your firm loses time to manual work and gives you an evidenced roadmap, yours to keep.
01
AI Training
Teach office and site staff to use AI confidently and safely on the work they already do. Half or full-day sessions, on site or remote.
02
AI Implementation
We embed our system to handle the admin costing you the most time, with AI applied inside how you already work. Fixed-fee setup, optional monthly retainer.
03
Managed AI Services
We deliver document production, compliance checking, reporting and records for you, through our system. Monthly retainer, scoped to your workflows.

In development
One platform for how a site actually runs
Alongside our consulting work, we are building a platform that carries the whole site process, from daily site diaries and site-specific RAMS to subcontractor onboarding, inspections and quality, progress reporting and handover packs. Early access is available for partners.
